Products are developed here: Our MakerSpace is equipped with everything needed to create prototypes. Whether 3D printer, laser cutter or CNC milling machine: After a short introduction, our equipment can be used even without prior knowledge. This is how the first products are created, which you can then test in the market.

Machine offers of the MakerSpace at a glance

Our machines and devices in the MakerSpace are divided into different categories. These machines and devices are each marked with a red, a yellow or a green circle (sticker on the machine). In order to use our machines and devices in the MakerSpace, you need in any case an instruction in the respective. In the green area you may work independently and alone on the machine. In the yellow area, a MakerSpace employee must be present and accompany your work process. In the red area, only MakerSpace employees are authorized to use this machine.

Brother PR670e Stickmaschine

In the field of textile processing we have an embroidery machine, a sewing machine and two cutting plotters on site, with which you can be creative. Available machines: Brother PR670e embroidery machine With the help of Brother PR670e embroidery machine, you can make machine embroidery by sewing on or sewing in threads and even with six different colors at the same time.

Silhouette Cameo 4 cutting plotter Furthermore, we have provided cutting plotters for you, in which a knife is used instead of a pen to cut desired contours in foil or similar material. You can use this foil later, for example, as stickers and lettering for your prototype.

In the field of electrical engineering we offer you simple measuring and testing tools, soldering stations and basic material for the development of test circuits on plug-in boards. We are also happy to support you in designing circuits and PCBs using eCAD (Autodesk Eagle).

Scheppach HC24Si Compressor The Scheppach HC24Si whisper compressor allows you to use numerous tools that are powered by compressed air. Samsung Flip 2 WM55R The Samsung Flip 2 WM55R is a digital flipchart with an interactive touch screen that allows you to intuitively create and then save or send digital notes. In addition, it is transportable due to its stand with wheels. CAD Stations At our CAD stations (available computers) you can design your components, post-process 3D scans, prepare 3D prints or create vector files. The appropriate programs are already pre-installed.

Thermal imaging camera With the help of the thermal imaging camera it is possible to electronically display the distribution of the surface temperature of objects based on the measured infrared radiation.

The use of the CET infrastructure is free of charge for aspiring founders. Start-ups that have already been founded can use our offers within the framework of a de-minimis grant.

The regular opening hours of the Maker- and DataSpace are Monday to Thursday from 9:00 to 15:00. Here you will always find one of our Maker and DataSpace staff*in on site. Outside these regular opening hours you can reach us via our CET MakerSpace email address. In exceptional cases, we can work together to arrange appointments that deviate from the regular opening hours. We are looking forward to your request.
