Employee Inventions Act: All inventions and technical improvement proposals of employees in the private and public sector are subject to the Law on Employee Inventions (short: ArbnErfG). The link leads to the complete edition of the law.

Copyright and Related Rights Act: The Copyright Act defines the protection of literary, scientific and artistic works that authors enjoy. A note: in many cases, the protection of software falls under copyright. The link leads to the complete edition of the law.

Invention disclosure: With the invention disclosure you formally inform the university about the invention you have made. In this disclosure you describe in detail the technical problem, the solution and the advantages to the prior art. Furthermore, you should describe the context in which the invention was made (e.g. in a third-party funded project). It is also mandatory to name all parties involved.
