We test your ideas or research results using current entrepreneurial methods, support you in outlining and conceptualizing business models, value propositions, identifying market opportunities and preparing business plans. In addition, we help you apply for early-stage funding.
We support you in applying for various funding programs, including EXIST Research Transfer, EXIST Start-up Grant, Start-up Transfer, Start-up Grant NRW.

No, the start-up consulting service is aimed at all those interested in setting up a business in the region Dortmund, Westphalian Ruhr Area and South Westphalia.
No, the costs incurred by those interested in founding a company are borne by the TU Dortmund University. In the case of companies, these may be covered by a certificate of subsidy (de-minimis).
All information will of course be treated confidentially.
Due to the Corona pandemic, talks currently usually take place online via a Zoom meeting. However, we are also happy to arrange a personal meeting at the Technology Center, taking into account current hygiene regulations.
No registration is required for the digital start-up consultation, which takes place every Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. via Zoom. Those who wish to attend can simply log in during that time.

Yes. We have set up various online meeting rooms. The participating founders are distributed among the different rooms so that each founding team is assigned to an advisor.
All that is needed is a stable Internet connection and, for the audio connection, a telephone, a headset or the PC's integrated microphone and speakers. The Zoom software can be installed free of charge. A webcam would be ideal, but is not a prerequisite.
