Erklärung zur Barrierefreiheit

Die TU Dortmund hat den Anspruch, ihre Websites und mobilen Anwendungen entsprechend der EU-Richtlinie 2016/2102 barrierefrei zugänglich zu machen. Die folgende Erklärung zur Barrierefreiheit dokumentiert den Umsetzungsstand für den Webauftritt www.cet.tu-dortmund.de gemäß der Verordnung zur Schaffung barrierefreier Informationstechnik nach dem Behindertengleichstellungsgesetz Nordrhein-Westfalen.

Nicht barrierefreie Inhalte

Die nachstehend aufgeführten Inhalte sind nicht barrierefrei:

• In den Webauftritt eingebundene PDF-Dokumente.
• Die aktuell verwendeten Farbtöne erreichen nicht alle den erforderlichen Kontrast.
• Genutzte Bilder weisen nicht alle eine Bildbeschreibung vor. 

Gründe:

• Aufgrund der großen Anzahl bereitgestellter PDF-Dokumente, die vor dem 23.09.2018 erstellt wurden, konnten diese bislang nicht in ein barrierefreies Format überführt werden. Sie werden sukzessive angepasst
• Bildbeschreibungen werden nicht immer von allen Redakteur*innen hinzugefügt, das übernimmt nun der Admin sukzessive.

Sie können uns Mängel bei der Einhaltung der Anforderungen an die Barrierefreiheit mitteilen und Informationen zu Inhalten anfordern, die von der Richtlinie ausgenommen sind.

Durchsetzungsverfahren

Sollten Sie auf Mitteilungen oder Anfragen zur Barrierefreiheit innerhalb von sechs Wochen keine zufriedenstellende Antwort erhalten haben, können Sie die Ombudsstelle für barrierefreie Informationstechnik einschalten. Sie ist der oder dem Beauftragten für die Belange der Men­schen mit Behinderung nach § 11 des Behindertengleichstellungsgesetzes Nordrhein-Westfalen zugeordnet. Wenn Sie ein Ombudsverfahren wünschen, füllen Sie bitte den entsprechenden Antrag aus und senden ihn per E-Mail an die Ombudsstelle.

The following Accessibility Statement documents the implementation status for the website <URL Ihres Auftritts> in compliance with the Ordinance of the Federal State of North Rhine-Westphalia on the Creation of Barrier-Free Information Technology in Accordance with the Act on Equal Opportunities for Disabled Persons (BITVNRW).

The content listed below is non-accessible:

• PDF documents embedded in the website.
• Not all of the colours currently used meet the required contrast standards.
• Not all images used have image descriptions. 

Reasons:

Due to the large number of PDF documents provided that were created before 23 September 2018, it has not yet been possible to convert them into an accessible format. They are being adapted gradually.
Image descriptions are not always added by all editors; this is now being done gradually by the administrator.

Accessible alternatives:

• In the event of non-accessible enrollment documents, please contact the Student Registration Office. In the case of non-accessible exam regulations, please contact the Central Examinations Office. In all other cases, please use the feedback form below.
• The contrast switch can be used to compensate for a lack of contrast in the headings and in the navigation bar.

Enforcement procedure

If you have not received a satisfactory answer to your messages or queries regarding accessibility within six weeks, you can call in the arbitrator for accessible IT. He or she reports to the Commissioner for Matters relating to Disabled Persons in accordance with Section 11 of the Act on Equal Opportunities for Disabled Persons of the Federal State of North Rhine-Westphalia. If you wish to initiate an arbitration procedure, you can complete the corresponding application form and send via email to the arbitration board.
