Innovate for Impact - How much impact is in your research? - Young Entrepreneurs in Science (Graduiertenzentrum)

Beginn: Ende: Veranstaltungsort: Online
Veranstaltungsart:
  • Workshop Graduiertenzentrum
  • CET Workshops
The workshop invites participants to explore the purpose of their research and to highlight its potential social impact.

Using the Golden Circle, participants reflect on the “why” behind their research. They also learn about the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and consider how their work can contribute to these global goals.

Participants are guided step by step from reflecting on their personal “why” to identifying relevant SDGs and developing initial ideas for practical applications. Methods from the field of social entrepreneurship and the Business Model Canvas are used to make the transfer of research into social impact tangible.

The workshop offers sufficient space for individual reflection and further development of ideas in groups. The focus is on personal engagement with one's own research topics as well as exchange and joint work in breakout sessions.

Objective: Participants recognize the importance of purpose-driven innovation, place their research in the context of the SDGs, and develop ideas on how their results can have an impact on society and the economy.
